For Forge versions:

1. Download and unpack the archive using WinRar or Zip;
2. If you have Minecraft open, you need to close it;
3. Click Start, enter %appdata%/.minecraft/mods in the search bar;
4. If you do not have such a folder, then it must be created;
5. Transfer the .jar file and close all windows;
6. Be sure to start Minecraft with the Forge postscript.

For Fabric versions:
